"Onyx"

"Onyx" is a black and brindle lab mix who is soooooo very sweet. He has been living outdoors on the end of a chain in frigid temperatures. Onyx is alone nearly all the time and was apprehensive and timid when first approached by strangers. He cowered and looked up with sad eyes at the RSVP volunteers who came to his aid and then responded with wags and kisses when pet. He was so very grateful for the kindness and care they have shown.

Onyx desperately needs your help. His owners have agreed to surrender him but he has no where to go. Please consider fostering him for a short time until a permanent home can be found. Please offer the warmth and security he has been denied and the chance he deserves.

Onyx is 5-6 yrs young and approx. 50lbs. He is also good with other non-aggressive dogs and appears submissive.
