"Foxy"

Jun, 2011

“Give me your tired, your poor, your huddled masses yearning to breath free, the wretched refuse of your teeming shore. Send these, the homeless, tempest-tost to me. I lift my lamp beside the golden door.” These words, inscribed on the base of the Statue of Liberty, have a special meaning to animal rescue group, RSVP, Inc.

“Foxy”, a rottie mix, has only known a life not worth living. Ten (10) years on the end of a chain, severely neglected and mistreated. Her owner was in jail and the home was in foreclosure. When RSVP volunteers first found her, she lunged at them. If taken to a shelter, she would have been euthanized. They brought her a doghouse and visited her daily to make sure she had something to eat. Foxy learned to trust them and was taken to a vet. She was diagnosed with heartworm and going blind. If you believe Foxy deserves the chance to be saved and given a better life,
