"Dice"
Feb, 2011
What becomes of a companion pet after their owner has died? That is the predicament "Dice" is in. A kind elderly woman had rescued him several years ago. She passed away suddenly and her daughter took Dice home. It was a familiar place that Dice enjoyed visiting. He loved playing with the young boxer that lived there and was careful to avoid the cat, whom he feared. But when night drew near, Dice was ready to go home. He didn't know that no one would be there. He didn't know that he could never go back. The reality of his friend's absence was now apparent. Dice began to whimper. The daughter tried to comfort him and slept in the living room so Dice would not have to be alone. Together they mourned the loss of their mother.
Dice is a tri-color terrier mix, 8 years young and approx. 75 lbs. He is up to date with his vaccinations. He is described as a big puppy who is very good with dogs, small children and is afraid of cats. Do you have room in your heart and home for him?
