"Cheyanne"

Updated June, 2010

"Love comes to those who still hope even though they've been disappointed, to those who still believe even though they've been betrayed, to those who still love even though they've been hurt before.”

Cheyanne is one of those dogs that are invisible. The kind that people walk right past in a shelter without so much as a second look. Nothing special about her appearance. Just another brindle mix. If they only knew the secrets of her heart. How long she lived in a dark basement, alone. That she likes children and cats. And she would give anything to be in a home.

Volunteers and fosters are desperately needed for Cheyanne and others just like her. If you can offer a weekend retreat outside her life in a kennel or just visit her for an hour, she will cherish the memory to help make it through another day.

If you can't give Cheyanne a home, then please, give her hope.

"Cheyanne" was found living with another dog in an abandoned home. During the winter, a neighbor had been feeding her and letting her out once each day. Volunteers with the RSVP Community Outreach Program found this poor unfortuate creature living in deplorable conditions. She is VERY sweet and is good with ALL ... children, dogs and even cats!

Cheyanne is a brindle, mid-sized, terrier mix and is approx. 5 years young. She is up-to-date with her vaccinations. Pease give Cheyanne a home!
