"Brownie"
March, 2010
"Brownie" was found living with another dog in an abandoned home. Her owner had rescued her years ago and loved her dearly but died from cancer. During the winter, a neighbor had been feeding her and letting her out once each day. Volunteers with the RSVP Community Outreach Program found this poor unfortunate creature living in deplorable conditions. The house is going to be sold by the surviving relatives and Brownie's fate has been decided as well. She will be taken to a vet to be euthanized.
Brownie is VERY sweet and is good with ALL ... adults, children, other dogs and also lived with cats!
Brownie is a brindle, mid-sized, mix similar to an Australian cattle dog and is approx. 5 years young. She is up-to-date with her vaccinations. Time is running out. Please give Brownie a home! Or consider temporary foster care until a new family can be found.
