Sassy

Our little “Sassy” is hoping that someone will adopt her soon. She was picked up as a stray over a year ago and has been waiting so long. Sassy is quite animated and gets so excited when someone stops by her kennel. She can barely contain her wagging tail and wriggling body when you take her out for a walk or to play. But once the euphoria passes, she demonstrates an attentive and very well behaved manner.

Sassy loves to play with her squeaky toy and will encourage you to join her. She will bring her toy upon command and give it up. She will also sit and wait, even if the toy is held within her reach. So patient! Sassy looks for her cue from you before taking her toy back or fetching it. And if you hide it and ask “Where did it go?” she will give her endearing quizzical look and try to peak behind you. Her curious and comical expressions are guaranteed to make you laugh. She also plays very nicely with “Powder,” another shelter mate.

Sassy is a terrier mix, black with white markings, about 3 years young with a small to medium frame. Visit her today and fall in love.
