Powder

“Smile for the camera!”

Hi! My name is “Powder” and I was picked up as a stray in Sept, 2008. I am in the prime of my life, at the age of 2 and weigh approx. 65 lbs. I'm a male, Am-Staff mix and white as my name suggests.

I love to play, but unfortunately, in an overcrowded and busy shelter, I don't get too many chances to do that. On a few occasions I went to the “meet and greet” room with some of my mates and we had a great time with this toy that squeaked!

Once, I managed to sneak out of my kennel. There I was, just strolling down the isles. The other dogs were “cheering” me on – I think they wanted me to let them out too. I was just looking for someone who wanted to go for a walk or just hang out. But someone spotted me and I had to go back.

Most times it's pretty lonely. When people come to visit, I gaze up with my golden eyes (they're beautiful, so I've been told). I look into their eyes and ask, “Are you coming to take me out to play? Or maybe to your home? Are you 'the one?'” Usually, they pass by, but maybe someday soon ...

Say, would you come visit me? That would be great! We can play in that room with the squeaky toy! Hope to see you soon!
