Nena

September, 2009

Nena's family, a single mother with 2 children, are experiencing financial difficulties. They were forced to give up their home and are living with relatives and cannot keep Nena. She is 6yrs young, a female white pit-bull who was raised since she was weaned. Nena is excellent with her family's 2 young children and acted as a foster mother to their rescued kittens, cleaning them and sharing her food and her pillow bed.

Nena is very attentive to her surroundings but only barks when asked to speak. She would not be a very good guard dog because she is not aggressive in any way. She likes to put her paws on your shoulders and give you "hugs". Like any other dog she loves going for walks and even tries to swim. She loves car rides and boat rides too!

Nena is an adult dog but is full of energy when it's time to play and ready to cuddle when it is time for bed! She has been a true companion to her family and they are heartbroken to see her go. They hope to find a great family with children (and maybe a cat or a dog) who will love her as much as they do. She weighs 45-50lbs, is spayed and up-to-date with her vaccinations. An exceptional dog. Call (631) 559-1328 for more information or visit www.rsvpinc.org.
