Adopted September 2009
Cooper
July, 2009
For those of you with a soft spot in your heart for senior dogs, we have "Cooper, " a very sweet and very gentle male Cocker Spaniel pedigree. His owner surrendered him to a Manhattan shelter and RSVP was able to find a temporary foster home. He is 12 years young but still loves to play ball. He will retrieve, return and drop it when you hold out your hand. As much as dogs enjoy a good game of fetch, few cooperate to this extent. Cooper is excellent with other animals and loves children. In his foster home, he totally ignores the cats and instead, devotes his attention to his buddy, the family's 5 year old daughter. He will follow her around the house, her loyal companion and guardian angel. Cooper walks well on a leash and would be a great companion pet for seniors or a family. Call (631) 728-3524 for more information or visit www.rsvpinc.org.
