September 2009

Charlie is a very friendly shepherd/chow mix. He is approx. 8 years young. He was surrendered to a municipal shelter when his owner died. He anxiously waits in his kennel for the return of his master. Staring at his gate and listening for a familiar voice, the hours pass without a trace. Today he is happy to see a volunteer who has come to take him for a walk. He continues to look for his lifelong companion along the way, but is grateful to have the company of his temporary friend, even if it is only for a short while. Charlie is housebroken, walks well on a leash, a sweet and loving dog. He is up to date with his vaccinations. Please welcome him to a new home. Call (631)728-3524 for more info.
