Radar

Radar is a senior black Labrador mix and a real gem. This sweet gentleman was previously owned his entire life, since he was a pup. His owner moved out of state and left him at a local shelter.

His “Personality Profile,” the paperwork submitted by his owner, was stellar. Radar was described as very friendly with all children, “babies and up,” housebroken, non-destructive and did not bark, howl or roam.

He remained at the shelter for almost 1 year. After a lifetime as a faithful companion, Radar couldn't understand how he came to such an end. In recent weeks he became despondent, retreating to the back of his kennel. He stopped eating. RSVP knew Radar deserved better. He was rescued and relocated to a private boarding facility. Radar responded immediately to the change. His spirits were lifted, his appetite improved and he was gobbling up dog biscuits and treats offered by the volunteers. He also seems to be indifferent to cats, a very docile fellow indeed!

Radar has been given the second chance he so deserves. He is a wonderful dog. All he needs now is you. Please call RSVP at (631) 728-3524 or visit their website www.rsvpinc.org. Foster homes providing temporary care are also welcome and all expenses are covered.
