Merri

“Merri” is a 3 year old, white, mid-sized terrier mix with spotted ears. She loves to play ball and can catch a fly ball in the air. She is friendly and very good with children and some dogs. Merri is also house-broken and walks well on a leash.
Merri was originally a stray at a local shelter. She was adopted but was returned because of a family medical crisis. It is always heartbreaking when an adoption is returned. Dogs are prone to depression after knowing the warmth and comfort of a loving home. Due to circumstances beyond control, these innocent creatures are suddenly abandoned and cast into an isolated and seemingly hostile kennel environment.
RSVP is looking for someone to provide a temporary foster home to help Merri through this difficult transition. All expenses including food are covered. Fostering is a wonderful way to help dogs like Merri and yet it is not a financial hardship or permanent commitment. There is also a great deal of flexibility if you can only offer a few days a week. All caring individuals and heroes please apply. For more information on fostering or adopting, please contact RSVP at (631) 728-3524.
